At Dakotaland Federal Credit Union, giving back to the community is more than a value—it’s part of who we are. This school year, we’re proud to celebrate our team members who volunteered their time and talent to support Junior Achievement of South Dakota, a program that reaches over 54,000 students across the state with vital lessons in financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship.

Junior Achievement’s mission is to prepare young people for real-world success, and thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, thousands of students had the opportunity to learn valuable life skills that will serve them for years to come.

We’re incredibly proud of the 16 Dakotaland employees who stepped into classrooms across South Dakota to make a difference:

  • Aberdeen: Abby Murano
  • Brookings: Danielle Engels and Katie McCaskill
  • Huron: Nancy Boltz, Ryan Goehner, Crystal Hofer, Amy Kleinschmit, Dawn Mutchelknaus, Nicole Rogers, James Salinas, and Sarah Senska
  • Madison: Erica Clements and Iris Colon
  • Watertown: Serena Boerger, Courtney Hageman, and Angie Hunke
  • Woonsocket: Lisa Snedeker

Their commitment to helping students understand the world of work and money reflects our belief that strong communities start with education and empowerment. We are honored to partner with Junior Achievement of South Dakota and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such meaningful work.

To our volunteers—thank you. Your passion and leadership are helping to build a brighter future for the next generation.
