Dickhaut Inducted into Credit Union Hall of Fame

Darrell Dickhaut of Redfield, SD was inducted into the Dakota Credit Union Hall of Fame at the 2022 Summit in Rapid City. In December of 2015, Darrell retired from Dakotaland Federal Credit Union as the Branch Manager of the Turtle Creek/Redfield Branch after 25+ years of dedicated service to the credit union movement. Past Dakotaland President, Dan Cumbee, along with DakCU President, Jeff Olson, honored the newest inductee. Darrell was joined by his wife, Barb, and several family members in celebrating this lifelong achievement.

Chief Growth Officer, Chad Moller, was bestowed Professional of the Year honors at the 2022 Dakota Credit Union Summit. 10 Area Students Receive $10,000 in Scholarships

Dakotaland Federal Credit Union awarded 10 area students with $10,000 in College Scholarships for the 2022-23 school year. Twelve committee members from across Dakotaland’s ten branch communities judged nearly 45 scholarship applications. "It was evident from the applications we reviewed, how dedicated these students are to their future success. So many are volunteering in their communities, involved in a number of extra-curricular activities, working part-time jobs, and still able to reach exceptional academic achievements. I was thoroughly impressed with these young men and women and loved getting to know them through the application process,” stated Angie Hanson, Scholarship Committee Member and Member Services Representative of the Watertown Branch Office.
